The Foundation started the Motorized Vehicle Distribution programme in 1992 under which a motorized vehicle, especially designed to suit the needs of persons having physical disability of lower limbs, is awarded to selected individuals from various parts. This programme has witnessed constant improvement in terms of refining the existing models and also designing an altogether new model. BINGO, the new design, a Kinetic Nova 135 cc scooter with stabilized wheels attached on both sides, was launched on 20 August 2006. This new model has features like an attached windscreen and canopy, ample storage space for crutches, safety protection, hand-operated lever for self-start etc.
Few things to note :
1. This three-wheeler is distributed on 20th August every year to differently abled individuals On the birth anniversary of late Shri Rajiv Gandhi.
2. Application is generally received in the month of December every year.
3. To get the Application Form, an application letter containing short description of yourself with photocopy of handicapped certificate, age proof should be sent by post to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation after the month of February or so (please confirm application receiving time before sending). You can collect it from RGF office in New Delhi as well.
4. Percentage of disability should be – 70% or more in certificate.
5. Not applicable for persons above 45 years of age.
6. The applicant should continue applying every year, since each year RGF receive fresh application. Previous year submission is considered invalid for the next year.
Various documents are required the details of which are mentioned in the application form. Few of them are as follows:

The applicant should continue applying every year. Each year RGF receive fresh application. You last applied in 2009 which is considered invalid now. So you can apply again in 2012 afresh.

One can apply for the motorized vehicle from Rajiv Gandhi Foundation every year, since fresh application is received each year.
